You know you need support, but you’re not sure where to start.

Maybe this feels familiar:

  • You have those days of complete frustration at the system that’s not set up for your success
  • You’re overwhelmed, fatigued, and ready to scream trying to juggle all the challenges and responsibilities.
  • You see your loved one’s immediate needs are not being met — whether at home, during a hospitalization, in school, at work, or elsewhere.
  • You sit on hold for hours at a time with insurance companies and providers with no real answers to your questions.
  • You feel like your voice isn’t being heard, and you wish there was a way to connect with someone who understands and would help bring clarity, positivity, and aid in the translation of medical and service provider lingo … so you can finally get unstuck.

In the space of caregiving, being a special needs parent, caring for your aging loved one, or managing an illness or chronic condition, there can be many days of brain fog, frustration, exhaustion, feeling unfocused and overwhelmed. There are so many things being thrown at you at one time.
From IEPs to hospitalizations, or dealing with county and state services, insurance companies, and managing medical and therapy appointments, having a patient and listening ear to offer support, resources, and help to make informed decisions can be invaluable.
In those moments of fatigue and overwhelm, having someone to help refocus, refuel, and empower you to keep advocating for yourself or loved one is necessary to stay the course whether it’s a short term sprint or a lifelong marathon.
Remember: “What we accept, we will receive.” This is especially true when it comes to navigating the world of caregiving, special needs parenting, or chronic medical illness.

I’m Tammy Flynn, Global Advocacy Leader and the host of the On-Air Advocate

I’ve been a caregiver and advocate for over 26 years for my son who has different abilities and complex medical challenges; as well 2 of my elderly loved ones; worked in the medical field in a hospital setting; and have worked with children, young adults and their families in the school system. I can empathize what it's like to be in your shoes.
My life has many layers, with the family dynamics of being a single parent raising 4 children and navigating my own entrepreneurial journey. I know how to service others with understanding, empathy and encouragement while giving tools, strategies, and support so you can be the best advocate for yourself and/or your loved one.
Let’s brainstorm, get creative, and add knowledge, resources, and education to your toolbox.
