Here are the Top Five Summer Safety Tips from The On-Air Advocate!
Summer is time for all kinds of outdoor fun! Just be sure to take care of yourself and your loved ones with these quick & easy tips for playing and staying outside this summer.
  1. Hydrate! Drinking plenty of quality water is the best way to keep your body safe in the summer. You can also supplement with hydrating fruits & vegetables.
  2. Stay covered in direct sun and monitor your exposure. Be sure to protect your skin and eyes during the hottest parts of the day.
  3. Keep bugs at bay by trying an eco-friendly solutions like mint and other plants that repel bugs. You can also avoid strongly scented body and hair products since they’re more likely to attract bugs.
  4. Protect your head, and wear a well-fitting helmet when biking. For young children consider adding knee and elbow pads for added safety.
  5. Check out the latest inspection score of pools where you plan to swim. Look for inspection scores online or on site.

This is great! A helpful reminder on what everyone needs to know this summer. Summer activities can be fun and exciting but we often don't plan ahead for things that we should and be prepared for what can happen. I never thought about checking online for pools for latest inspection. With everything going around, you just never know. Thanks !
